FIRST ART AND PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION.

Dear Sir , Madam,
On behalf of the organization of the Sierra Leone – Germany Art/Photographic Exhibition Scheduled for October 4th till October 31st 2018 at Museum Kunstraum Düsseldorf-Bilk, Germany, on the theme: “The ART APPEALS FOR PEACE”.The event has attracted seventeen (17) participants around the country and the guest speakers for this event is Madam Isatu Smith Chairperson of the Monument and Relics Commission of Sierra Leone and Hans-Georg Lohe the Director of culture in Dusseldorf Germany.
“Prosperous societies are built upon the foundation of creativity”. It’s obvious that the Art has taken a center stage in addressing development processes at varied levels. Therefore, premium and adequate recognition must be acknowledged by all with reference to developing countries.
This exposure will further strengthen and enhance our co-creative attitudes, co-existence within our different cultures, Religions and Race. “Sustainable cultures of peace and its consolidation through our diverse cultural believes, portrays our identity”.
Since 2014, there had been series of consultations with respective stakeholders with staff at the Museum Kunstpalast in Düsseldorf/ Germany,Landeshauptstadt Düsseldorf and the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural affairs Sierra Leone.
In April 2017, the exhibition was formally launched in Sierra Leone by the under mentioned partners:- The Redeemers in Germany, Monument and relics commission Sierra Leone, SL National Museum and Peacelinks SL. After which, 17 professional artists cut-across various artistic disciplines emerged and came up with over 65 standard artifacts such as, paintings, clay crafts, wood relief and textile.
The project is aiming at identifying creative Sierra Leonean artists to be exposed through their work in Sierra Leone, Germany and also fostering solid International linkages among artists in the two Countries.
It is hoped that the Arts will continue to render valuable contributions in all aspects of development processes through appropriate skills acquisition in both formal and informal system of education in ensuring self worth, Esteem and poverty reduction across communities.

It was a positive meeting between us and they are ready to open a door of good relationship to Sierra Leone to help expose our talent in Germany.
We are going to invite the participants on the opening ceremony at the Sierra Leone National Museum at Cotton tree Freetown and to talk about the importance of the project on Friday the 26th January 2018 at 6:30PM
We need your help to get this information to the public and to be part of the ceremony
• We have identify 17 best Sierra Leonean painters within the country
• Promoting Sierra Leonean Painters and photographers to do an Exhibition in Kulturzentrum Museum Kunstpalast Düsseldorf Germany
• Building a strong relationship between the Sierra Leone Museum and various Museum in Germany
• It will help to promote our indigenous culture to the rest of the world
• It will serve as a means of attracting tourist to Sierra Leone

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
Einladung und Sponsoring zur Unterstützung der ersten Kunst- und Fotoausstellung von Sierra Leone und Deutschland. (Germsal 2018)
Eröffnung Donnertag 4.10.2018 Time : 18:00Uhr
Im Namen der Organisation wird eine Sierra Leone – Deutschland Kunst/- und Fotoausstellung zum Thema „Die Kunst ruft zum Frieden auf“ geplant. Die Ausstellung findet im Museum Kunstraum Düsseldorf-Bilk statt vom 4-10-31.10.2018
Die Veranstaltung hat siebzehn Künstler aus dem ganzen Land herangezogen und als Gastredner für diese Veranstaltung sind Frau Isatu Smith, Vorsitzende der Kommission für Denkmal und Relikte aus Sierra Leone und Hans-Georg Lohe, Kulturdezernent in Düsseldorf vorgesehen.
Wohlhabende Gesellschaften bauen auf der Grundlage von Kreativität auf. Es ist offensichtlich, dass die Kunst ein zentrales Stadium in unseren Entwicklungsprozessen auf verschiedenen Ebenen einnimmt. Beitragsleistung und angemessene Anerkennung, vor allem in Bezug auf Entwicklungsländer, muss folglich anerkannt werden.
Die Darstellung wird unsere kreative Haltungen und das Zusammenleben in unseren verschiedenen Kulturen und Religionen weiter stärken und verbessern. Nachhaltige Friedenskulturen und ihre Vereinheitlichung durch unsere kulturellen Glauben verkörpern unsere Identität.
Seit 2014 gab es eine Reihe von Besprechungen mit den jeweiligen Interessengruppen, mit Mitarbeitern des Museums Kunstpalast in Düsseldorf, der Landeshauptstadt und des Ministeriums für Tourismus und Kulturelle Angelegenheiten in Sierra Leone.
Im April 2017 wurde bereits die Ausstellung in Sierra Leone von den unten genannten Partnern offiziell eröffnet: The Redeemers aus Deutschland, Denkmal und Reliquien Kommission Sierra Leone, SL Nationalmuseum und Peacelinks SL. 17 professionelle Künstler
entwickelten verschiedene künstlerische Disziplinen und es entstanden über 65 Standardwerke wie Gemälde, Töpferhandwerk, Holzrelief und Textilien.
Das Projekt zielt darauf ab, kreative Künstler aus Sierra Leone ausfindig zu machen, die durch ihre Arbeit in Sierra Leone in Deutschland auftreten und somit eine solide internationale Verbindung zwischen Künstlern in beiden Ländern fördern.
Es ist zu hoffen, dass die Künste weiterhin wertvolle Beiträge zu allen Aspekten von Entwicklungsprozessen leisten werden, indem sie sowohl im formellen als auch im informellen Bildungssystem einen angemessenen Qualifikationserwerb zur Sicherung des Selbstwerts, der Wertschätzung und der Verringerung der Armut in den Gemeinschaften leisten.
